Kevin Spagnolo

Principal clarinet

Kevin has Italian and German origins and grew up mainly in Tuscany, more specifically in the province of Lucca. He studied there until he was 19 years old and then moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where he obtained two master's degrees. He played in youth orchestras throughout Europe and gained experience in the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Teatro alla Scala and Verbier Chamber Orchestra to name a few. His solo career began after winning several international competitions, including the prestigious Geneva International Competition, where his victory earned him a CD recording with the Swedish Chamber Orchestra. Now he plays in the Swedish Chamber Orchestra and performs chamber music as a soloist around the world.

What he loves the most is to eat a really good carbonara and to watch movies.
